Our Impact

We believe real change happens when people come together. Our impact can be seen in every tree planted, every child educated, and every community empowered.

The Problem

Across vulnerable communities, climate change is not a distant threat: It is a lived reality.

Floods uproot families, droughts strip away livelihoods, and deforestation robs the land of its future.

These “delugees” or climate refugees face a double crisis: environmental collapse and social exclusion. We exist to change that.

Our Solution

DEO is cultivating the next generation of climate leaders, by combining climate education with hands-on tree planting in schools and the surrounding communities.

We establish tree nurseries, mobilize local communities, and integrate climate education with hands-on restoration.

This empowers climate-affected communities to heal their environment and reclaim dignity.

Every seedling planted is a step toward food security, clean air, and climate resilience.

Our Approach

  • Greening Schools: We integrate tree planting into school life, restoring degraded lands while teaching environmental stewardship.
  • Digital Climate Education: We design and use creative, engaging curricula and practical learning tools, like activity books, eco-games, posters, and guides that make climate knowledge fun, accessible and memorable to learners.
  • Equity & Inclusion: We ensure historically excluded communities gain dignity and leadership by participating fully in climate solutions, promoting dignity, justice and fair access to opportunities.

Each seedling planted is more than a tree: It is a symbol of resilience, dignity, and hope.

Each lesson taught is more than knowledge, it is empowerment to act.
