This year, Delugees has made significant strides across our environmental projects, with a special focus on tree planting, nursery expansion, and school outreach programs.
Tree Planting Progress
In 2025, our teams and volunteers planted:
- 1,200 trees in Machakos
- 1,100 trees in Kiambu
- 1,350 trees in Kajiado
- 1,450 trees in Nairobi
Nursery Establishment
Our new nurseries are fully operational, producing:
- Indigenous seedlings
- Fruit trees for community planting
- Drought-tolerant dryland species
Together, the nurseries now host over 6,000 healthy seedlings ready for the long rains planting season.
Schools Reached
We expanded our environmental education program to 12 new schools, engaging over 3,000 students in:
- Tree planting
- Waste management workshops
- Nature clubs
- Climate literacy sessions
Every seedling planted and every student reached brings us closer to a greener, more climate-resilient Kenya.
